Just a Small Study
This is a little old by now but a great start to this art blog.
This is a test of sorts. This is a quick study done using 3 primary colors. I am testing some new watercolor paints by Graham & Co. It is made using honey as a binder. There is a really long, drawn out reason for using honey. Bottom line is it retains moisture longer. I am also testing some new paper. I am really just starting to use watercolor as a medium again. So for me there is a lot of testing going on with everything I do. I have a real tendency to get too detailed. So I am really trying to pay attention to staying loose. Wish me luck.

This may only be an issue where I live, but do you find that honey in paint attracts ants and/or other hungry insects?
