Farm House
This is a straight watercolor done in plein air. I am part of a group that gets together to do this about once a month. I wish I had time to be more active with the group. It is the Ohio Plein Air Society (OPAS.) Once again, I am trying to loosen up from my background of wanting to draw and paint every detail. This farm had a tiny house but a huge barn. It didn’t seem as though anyone was home. There was only one car that drove down the same road even. It was a great time to be alone, paint, pray, listen and let all the stresses of life be far, far away. 1 Kings 8:28

Hi Robin,
Random guy here. I found your site on WordPress.org. I too am an artist and I just wanted to encourage you to keep posting and painting as much as you can. It is really fun and inspiring to share with the world and interact with others the creativity we have and the things that inspire us. There are so many of us that have been painting all our life and had no place to show our art. Now the blog-world has allowed us to have a creative outlet that allows us to get our artwork out of the closet (and in my case, the garage) and share our gifts with others.
So, be blessed today and paint. Meditate on the gift of seeing that God’s spirit has hidden inside of you, and allow it to bless others here.
Peace, Rich

Thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate that. I am still trying to figure out how to really use this blog let alone get things uploaded to it. Hopefully people like you and I can continue to encourage one another. I love to paint but find it hard to balance the rest of life and make time for it. Which is why I joined OPAS and am getting involved with this. It helps to have to be accountable. This is a great use of this media.
Thanks again,
Robin
