Tuesday’s Paintings

Only 2 so far today. I started another one earlier today but didn’t finish. Also sent a lot of time on the painting of the Robert morris inn because people kept stopping to tell me about its history. Which is actually quite interesting.

Tilghman Sunset

12 x 16 oil on raymar panel. Last one of the day. A pretty nice sunset. Not spectacular. Decided to catch it when a little higher in the sky. That way I had time to finish the foreground grasses before it was totally dark. The image is little dark. Oxford for more boats tomorrow.

They have big deer here.

This one was a nice small one. An 8 x 10. They really do have big deer here, and lots of them. Big racks on the bucks and plenty of those around. Last night I saw two big bucks a couple does and a herd of turkeys crossing beside them. Anyway, this was a mid-afternoon [...]
